HOW DO chrisco HAMPERS PRICES COMPARE WITH RETAILERS?
The price you pay includes the cost of collecting your payments (charged to us by our bank), special packing, delivery, GST and is fixed for the year. We do charge a bit more than some retailers because of all the extra costs involved, but thousands of existing customers think that chrisco Hampers is still great value for money and so convenient! There'll be no more tackling huge Christmas shopping centre crowds or carrying shopping home (with kids in toe), plus you'll have extra money at Christmas time because you've paid for your chrisco Hampers in advance.

HOW DO I KNOW THE PRODUCTS ARE GOOD QUALITY?
As you'll see in our catalogues, we only use the top brands you know and trust. With meat products, we work with the very best Australian meat suppliers who have an established track record for the very highest quality. Plus, our meat has a 100% guarantee - that's how sure we are that we are only providing the very best quality.

WHAT HAPPENS TO MY PAYMENTS ON PUBLIC HOLIDAYS?
Your Direct Debit payment will come out the next working day. If you wish to skip a payment on this day or the day after you will need to let us know before midday on the working day before.

HOW DO I CALCULATE MY PAYMENTS?
Final payment for catalogue orders is due in October. Click here to use the payment calculator to estimate your weekly, fortnightly or monthly payments from a total price. You can also work out a total price from what you want to save each week, fortnight or month. Note: The calculator takes into consideration the remaining time available to make repayments before the catalogue closes.

WHAT IS MY MEMBERSHIP NUMBER AND WHY IS IT IMPORTANT?
You'll be given a Membership Number either when you place your order, or when you request a catalogue from us. If you can't find it, please Contact Us.
Your Membership Number is important because it helps us to identify you and keep your account up to date. You need to write your Membership Number on all letters and emails to us and also quote your Membership Number when you phone us.

WHAT HAPPENS ONCE I'VE PLACED MY ORDER?
You can expect to receive an order confirmation within 5 working days. Please check all your details carefully as this is what we have on record for you. If any of the details are incorrect please Contact Us immediately and we will make the necessary changes. If you do not receive an order confirmation please Contact Us.

CAN I CHANGE MY ORDER?
Yes, you can change your order any time until the Last Change Date (this does not include cancellations, refer to the table below for dates). Just remember that changing your order can lead to an increase or decrease in your payments. This does not include cancellations; please refer to our cancellation policy in the Terms and Conditions for full details

CAN I ORDER PRODUCTS AS A GIFT FOR SOMEONE ELSE?
Yes. You'll need to place your online gift order separately from your own order. When you do, simply let us know that it's a gift and during the checkout process we will request the gift delivery address. We won't write to the recipient so it will remain a surprise.

CAN I ORDER AT ANYTIME DURING THE YEAR?
Yes. We take orders up until the 26th August 2016 for Home and Living and Family Christmas Gift Catalogues and 21st October 2016 for Christmas Hamper Catalogues. Remember, the earlier you order the more weeks you have to pay and therefore the lower the weekly payments.

HOW CAN I PAY FOR MY ORDER?
You can pay for your order by Direct Debit, Cheque, Money Order or Credit Card (Visa or MasterCard). Payments can be made weekly, fortnightly or monthly with the exception of Credit Cards, which will be Direct Debited on the 15th of each month. If paying by Credit Card you'll need to let us know your 16 digit Credit Card number and your 4 digit expiry date

CAN I STOP A DIRECT DEBIT PAYMENT?
Yes, if you call us on 1800 830 830 prior to midday the working day before your payment is due we can stop a payment (i.e.before Friday midday for a Monday payment)

WHAT IS A DIRECT DEBIT AUTHORITY?
A Direct Debit Authority allows a payment to be automatically deducted from your bank account.
It's safe, saves you time and saves you money (postage, bank fees etc).
You are in complete control at all times.
You can cancel/suspend the authority at any time.
You can leave the authority in place for next year.
Payments can be adjusted if you miss a payment or change your order.
By downloading and completing the Direct Debit Authority form you are authorising chrisco Hampers to debit your payments from your chosen account. At midnight on the day you have chosen (usually your pay day), our bank debits your account electronically. It's easy. Just fill in the form and then ... relax.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I MISS A PAYMENT?
chrisco Hampers will automatically recalculate your payments and slightly increase your future payments so that your order is still paid in full by the week ending 21st October 2016 for Hamper and Home and Living and Family Christmas Gifts catalogues, and by the week ending 4th November 2016 for Mega Top Up catalogue. If a few payments are missed we may slightly reduce your order and write to let you know. If you want to skip a payment we can do this, provided you call us on 1800 830 830 before midday on the working day prior to the day your payment is due.

WILL I BE CHARGED IF I MISS A PAYMENT?
Your bank or building society may charge you a fee. chrisco Hampers will also charge you a small dishonour fee of $3.50 to cover charges we incur.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I CAN'T KEEP UP MY PAYMENTS?
We understand that circumstances change and if you are not able to keep paying please call our friendly Customer Service Team to discuss your options on 1800 830 830. See also the cancellation policy in the Terms and Conditions for full details

WHERE DO YOU DELIVER TO AND WHEN WILL THEY ARRIVE?
All deliveries are made from November to mid-December with the exception of Back to School hampers which will be delivered late January. We'll send you a letter stating your delivery date or date range. Due to the nature of frozen goods, customers must be home to accept delivery on the day advised, or make arrangements with friends or neighbours to accept it for you. We recommend you put frozen hampers into the freezer as soon as you receive them.
We use three different methods of delivery to ensure your hampers arrive on time. These include:

 

  • Courier Deliveries

    Your hamper orders will arrive between 7am and 7pm on your scheduled delivery date. Unfortunately, we cannot provide you with a specific time.

  • Master Delivery Agent

    Your delivery will be made by a courier within the delivery date range provided. The courier will call you prior to your delivery to arrange an exact delivery date. If you are not home, a 'calling card' will be left advising you of whom to contact to arrange re-delivery. An additional charge may apply for re-delivery.

  • Australia Post Deliveries

    Your delivery may be made by Australia Post between the delivery date ranges provided. If you are not at home, a 'calling card' will be left and you will be required to collect your order from the nominated post office.

In accordance with liquor licensing legislation, customers who purchase hampers containing alcohol must be over the age of 18 years. Proof of identity and age will be required at time of order and delivery.
While every effort is made to deliver on the date advised, chrisco Hampers cannot accept liability for delay due to the customer's failure to complete customer obligations or any other reason beyond the control of chrisco Hampers (and/or its staff). chrisco Hampers cannot accept any liability resulting from a contracted party's failure to deliver on the date advised. Should your delivery address change, please inform chrisco Hampers immediately. If a delivery address is changed after the 26th August 2016 for orders from Christmas Hamper catalogue or Home and Living catalogue or Family Christmas Gift catalogue or 1st August 2016 for NRL/AFL personalised merchandise chrisco Hampers reserves the right to charge a redelivery fee.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I CHANGE ADDRESS?

If you change your address, simply Contact Us to let us know as soon as possible. If a delivery address is changed after 26th August 2016 for orders from Christmas Hamper catalogue or Home and Living catalogue or 1st August 2016 for NRL/AFL personalised merchandise, chrisco Hampers may charge an administration fee.

Delivery - Frozen goods

Due to the nature of frozen goods, customers must be home to accept delivery on the day advised, or make arrangements with friends or neighbours to accept it for you. We recommend you put frozen products into your freezer as soon as you receive them.

Delivery - Alcohol

In accordance with liquor licensing legislation, customers who purchase hampers containing alcohol must be over the age of 18 years at the time of order. Proof of identity and age will be required.

Delivery – Packing & Administration / Delivery Fee

For Home and Living 2016 and for all non food hampers from Hamper catalogues, each order will incur a Packing and Administration charge of $9.95, regardless of how many items you order.

Delivery - Heavy and oversized items

Delivery costs are included except where stipulated throughout the catalogue. Some chrisco Home and Living, Family Christmas Gifts and non-food hampers will incur a delivery surcharge of $80 will apply for each product because they are heavy or large items. Check our outer region postcode table below to see if this fee applies to you.

Delivery - Rural

Should you live in, or move to a remote rural area, we may ask you to collect your order from a local pick-up point and some very remote areas may not be within our courier delivery range. You can either check by calling us on 1800 830 830 or clicking here for the full list of effected post codes.

Delivery - Change of address

Should your delivery address change, please inform chrisco Hampers immediately. If a delivery address is changed after 26th August 2016 for orders from Christmas Hamper, Home and Living and Mega Top Up catalogue, or 1st August 2016 for NRL/AFL personalised merchandise, chrisco reserves the right to charge an administration fee.

Delivery - Gift Card/Voucher

Gift Cards and Vouchers must be signed for on delivery. They will arrive first week of December in plenty of time for your Christmas shopping.

Delivery – Onward Forwarding Freight

Some customers live out side of our normal delivery areas and outside of our Rural Post Depot collection points. If this is the case you will be charged for onward Forwarding Freight. Please see table below for postcodes this effects.

“CHRISCO ‘WIN A JACK DANIEL’S CAN COOLER PROMOTION

1.            Information on how to enter and the prize forms part of these Terms and Conditions. Participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

 

2.            Entry is only open to Australian residents aged 18 years or over who are a Chrisco Hamper Member as at the time of entry (“Member”). Employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter and agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or 1st cousin.

 

3.            Promotion commences on 12/10/2015 and final entries close at 5.00pm AEDST on 31/03/2016 (“Promotional Period”).

 

4.            To receive an automatic entry, Members must, during the Promotional Period, place an order for the Jack Daniel’s RTD Hamper, (Code 313) via Chrisco.com.au website or phone on 1800 830 830 or in writing to Reply Paid 88158, Wetherill Park BC NSW 1851, and make at least one (1) payment (of any amount) towards their order.

 

5.            Incomplete, indecipherable or inaudible entries will be deemed invalid.

 

6.            Only one (1) automatic entry will be awarded per Member. For the sake of clarity, regardless of whether one (1) order or multiple orders are placed, only one (1) automatic entry will be awarded to the Member for the duration of the Promotional Period.

 

7.            The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and Members (including a Member’s identity, age, membership number and place of residence) and to disqualify any Member who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or who tampers with the entry process. Errors and omissions may be accepted at the Promoter's discretion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.

 

8.            If there is a dispute as to the identity of a Member, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to determine the identity of the Member.

 

9.            The draw will take place at Chrisco, Block E, Commercial Drive, Regents Park NSW 2143 at 3:00pm AEST on 8/04/2016. The winner will be notified in writing within two (2) business days of the draw. The winner's name will be published on www.chrisco.com.au from 13/04/2016, for a period of twenty-eight (28) days.

 

10.         The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

 

The first valid entry drawn will Win A Jack Daniel’s Can Cooler valued at $481.  

 

11.         If for any reason the winner does not take the prize at the time stipulated by the Promoter, then the prize will be forfeited.

 

12.         If the prize is unavailable, the Promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the prize with a prize to the equal value and/or specification, subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority.

 

13.         Total prize pool value is AU$481. Prize, or any unused portion of the prize, is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash, unless otherwise specified.

 

14.         A draw for the prize, if unclaimed, may take place on 8/07/2016 at the same time and place as the original draw, subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority. The winner, if any, will be notified in writing within two (2) business days of the draw. The winner's name will be published on www.castlehampers.com.au from 13/07/2016, for a period of twenty-eight (28) days.

 

15.         Members consent to the Promoter using their name, likeness, image and/or voice in the event they are a winner (including photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this promotion (including any outcome), and promoting any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter.

 

16.         If this promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, including but not limited to technical difficulties, unauthorised intervention or fraud, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law: (a) to disqualify any Member; or (b) subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority, to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the promotion, as appropriate.

4.    To successfully enter the competition customers must email their recipe with their name, address and phone number to recipecompetition@chrisco.com.au.  Please include 30 words or less telling us “why this is one of your favourite recipes. Participants can enter as many times as they want.

5.    This is a game of skill and chance plays no part in determining the winner. All entries will be judged on their individual merit. Judge's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. Incomplete or incomprehensible entries will be ineligible. chrisco reserves the right to use the content of winning entries for the purpose of future promotions.

6.    chrisco is not responsible for any technical malfunctions or problems with Internet or network congestion, including injury or damage to a participant's or any other person's computer related to participation in this promotion and problems with transmission of entries over the Internet. chrisco will accept no responsibility for lost, late or misdirected entries.

7.    chrisco reserves the right to remove any image/text entered if deemed necessary, no correspondence will be entered into in this matter. Entrants are advised not to include any offensive or inappropriate material in their entries, or any recipes that are not original and owned by the entrant, or these will be removed and deemed invalid.

8.    If the prize (or part of the prize) is unavailable, the Promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the prize (or that part of the prize) with a prize of equal or greater value and/or specification - subject to the relevant state authority approval.

9.    Subject to relevant state authority approval, the Promoter reserves the right to modify the terms and conditions of this Promotion at any time.

10. Subject to relevant state authority approval, the Promoter reserves the right, in its absolute discretion, at any time before the awarding of the Prize to cancel the competition or to vary or cancel the award of the Prize including, without limitation, circumstances where in the Promoter's opinion (which it shall form in its absolute discretion): (a) a Prize winner does not satisfy the Competition entry requirements; or (b) the Promoter cannot conduct the Competition or award the Prize for any reason beyond its control. Subject to relevant state authority approval, in the event that the Promoter cancels the Competition or varies or withdraws the Prize it shall not:

a.    be liable to any person for any loss or damage (including loss or damage caused by any negligence) arising out of, or in connection with, such cancellation, variation or withdrawal; and (b) be required to conduct the Competition at any other time.

11. Entrants enter the Competition at their sole risk. With the exception of liability which cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for personal injury suffered or sustained as a result of taking the Prize or entering the Competition.

12. There are a maximum of 12 prizes, one for each month of our calendar.  The winning customers entry will be published in our 2017 chrisco calendar. If a customer’s recipe is chosen for the calendar recipes that are used, the winner will receive a chrisco baking treats hamper valued at $184.60.  If chrisco cannot choose recipes that are of high enough calibre to publish only those recipes that are published will be awarded a prize.

13. Prize, or any unused portion of the prize, is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash. Prize must be taken in its complete entirety or it will be forfeited. If for any reason a winner does not take the prize or an element of the prize at the time stipulated by the Promoter, then the prize or that element of the prize will be forfeited. If the winner of the prize is under the age of 18 years, the prize will be awarded to the winner's parent or guardian who will be required to confirm acceptance of the terms and conditions prior to claiming any prize.

14. Total prize pool value is AU$2215.20. The prize value is correct at the time of printing. The Promoter is neither responsible nor liable for any change in the value of the Prize occurring between the publishing date and the date the prize is claimed. All prize values are in Australian dollars.

3. The promotion is open to individual Australian residents who place an order of any 2016 Batman and/or Superman product from the 2016 Mega Top up catalogue during the Purchase Period “Participants”.

4. The “Purchase Period” commences at 9:00am (AEDT) 1st April 2016 and ends at 11:59pm (AEDT) 5th April 2016 or when allocation has been exhausted, which ever comes first.

5. There are 1,000 gifts to give away. The first 1,000 Participants to submit a valid order will be eligible to receive the gift.

6. The ‘Gift’ consists of a voucher redeemable for one movie ticket (1 x movie ticket) valid at selected cinemas (Total maximum RRP $26.00). The tickets are adult passes which can be used by anyone of any age. Use of the Gift is subject to any terms and conditions imposed by the relevant cinema.

7. To secure a ticket, Participants must visit www.chrisco.com.au or call 1800 830 830 and submit their order including one or more Batman and/or Superman product from the 2016 Mega Top up catalogue and details including full name, valid email address and postal address,  by 11:59pm (AEST) 19 April 2016. 8. No responsibility will be accepted by the Promoter for late or misdirected claims.

9. Use of the Gift is subject to the terms and conditions of the relevant cinema. In order to claim the Gift Participants agree to the following terms and conditions (as applicable). The Cinema terms and conditions are:

Voucher can be redeemed online at villagecinemas.com.au, eventcinemas.com.au or at the ticket box for movie sessions at participating cinema locations*.Seating is subject to availability. 10. The Promoter will use all reasonable efforts to promptly disable the claims process on the promotion website once all the Gifts have been distributed.

11. If any Gift (or part of any Gift) is unavailable, the Promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the Gift (or that part of the Gift) with a Gift to the equal value and/or specification, subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority.

12. The Promoter collects personal information in order to conduct the Promotion and may, for this purpose, disclose such information to third parties, including agents, contractors, service providers, suppliers and as required, to regulatory authorities. Participation is conditional on providing this information.

14. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the eligibility of Participants and the validity of a claim (including contacting the place of purchase), and to invalidate any claim that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions, or to disqualify any Participant who tampers with the claim process.

15. Incomplete or illegible claims may be deemed invalid, although errors and omissions may be accepted at the Promoter's discretion.

16. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.

17. If this promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law and subject to State regulation, (a) to disqualify any Participant; or (b) to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the promotion, as appropriate.

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits, excludes, modifies or purports to limit, exclude or modify the statutory consumer guarantees under the Competition and Consumer Act, as well as any other implied warranties under the ASIC Act or similar consumer protection laws in the State and Territories of Australia (“Non-Excludable Guarantees”).

19. Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, including the Non-Excludable Guarantees, the Promoter (including its respective officers, employees and agents) is not responsible for and excludes all liability (including negligence) for any personal injury or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity) - whether direct, indirect, special or consequential - arising in any way out of the promotion, including (without limitation): (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter’s control); (b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (c) any claim that is late, lost, altered or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (d) any tax liability incurred by an Eligible Claimant; or (e) use of the cash back.
