Code of Ethics

Chrisco takes pride in its code of ethics and the way we maintain the highest standards of customer service at all times. You can rest assured we  comply with industry guidelines and that our procedures are tried and proven. Thats because we have developed them with advice from our customers over many years.

Customer Service

Our Call Centre is open from 8.30am to 5.00pm weekdays (excluding public holidays) on 1800 830 830. If you have any comments or queries our friendly customer service staff will be more than happy to help.

Membership Number

Your Membership Number is important. It is the way that we identify you and keep your account up to date. Please write your Membership Number on all letters to us and also quote your Membership Number on the phone.

Products and Pricing

Chrisco only uses brands you know and trust. This ensures they’re all top quality. With meat products, we only deal with suppliers who have an established track record of the very highest quality. However, Chrisco reserves the right to make product substitutions of all products (not just meat products) that will be of equal or greater retail value. Chrisco hamper prices are set at the time of catalogue publication. In most States and Territories, the total cost of your hamper includes collecting your payments, packaging and delivery.

Orders

We take Toys and Gifts orders up to 31 August 2008. No changes or cancellations for Toys and Gifts can be made to your order after 31 August 2008. While we make every effort to supply you with your product order, stock and suppliers may change, affecting your order.

Product Returns

We will gladly replace items or reimburse you should a product be damaged in transit and in accordance with our legal responsibilities as a merchant. We are unable to accept returns for other reasons such as if you have changed your mind or have made an incorrect choice about the product and no longer wish to keep it.

Payments

If you miss a payment we will automatically recalculate and slightly increase your future payments so that your order is fully paid by 24th October 2008. If several payments are missed, we will reduce your order to make these payments easier. We are not responsible for your bank charges if payments fail. We reserve the right to charge an administration fee of $3.50 if a payment fails.

If you are unable to keep paying, we will reduce your order to the amount you have already paid, and you will still receive a Chrisco hamper and/or vouchers at Christmas. We are happy to discuss your order at any time. Simply give us a call.

Credit Balance

We reserve the right to deduct a $25 administration fee per annum from any credit balance on an inactive account.

Packing

All hampers are carefully packed into specially designed cartons and quality checked. Our frozen hampers are packed in insulated cartons.

Delivery

All deliveries are made between mid November and mid December. Well send you a delivery advice card to inform you which day your hampers will be delivered. All deliveries are made on the day between 7am and 7pm. Due to the nature of frozen goods, customers must be home to accept delivery on the day advised, or make arrangements with friends or neighbours to accept it for you.

We recommend you put frozen hampers into your freezer as soon as you receive them.

In accordance with liquor licensing legislation, customers who purchase hampers containing alcohol must be over the age of 18 years at the time of order. Proof of identity and age will be required.

While every effort is made to deliver on the date advised, Chrisco cannot accept any liability for delay due to the customers failure to complete customer obligations or any other reason beyond the control of Chrisco (and/or its staff). Chrisco cannot accept any liability resulting from a contracted partys failure to deliver on the date advised, but will ensure redelivery is made in time for Christmas. Deliveries to the North Queensland Islands will incur a freight charge.

Should your delivery address change, please inform Chrisco immediately. If a delivery address is changed after the 24th October 2008, Chrisco reserves the right to charge a delivery fee.

Voucher Delivery

All vouchers must be signed for on delivery. Vouchers will arrive by late November in plenty of time for your Christmas shopping.

Rural Delivery

In some remote rural areas we may ask you to collect your order from a local pick-up point and some very remote areas may not be within our courier delivery range. Please check this when you order.

Returns

Due to the perishable nature of our goods, we are unable to take hampers back. We guarantee to replace items damaged in transit.

Catalogue

All efforts have been made to check for errors and omissions in typography and photography. However, inadvertent errors may occur for which Chrisco will not be responsible. Product images are for illustrative purposes only.
