Q1. What is my Membership Number?

Your Membership Number is important, it is the way that we identify you and keep your account up to date.  You need to write your Membership Number on all letters and emails to us and also quote your Membership Number on the phone when you ring us.

If you've never contacted Chrisco before, you'll be given a Membership Number either when you place your order, or when you request a catalogue from us.

Q2. What happens once I've placed my order?

You can expect to receive an order confirmation within 10 working days.  Please check all your details very carefully as this is what we have on record for you.  If any of the details are incorrect please call us immediately and we will make the necessary changes.  If you do not receive an order confirmation please call us and we will look into it.

Q3. Can I change my Hamper order?

Yes, you can change your order any time until the 24th October 2008. Just remember that changing your order can lead to an increase or decrease in your payments, a customer service representative will be more than happy to help you out.

Q5.How do Chrisco prices compare with Supermarkets?

The price you pay includes the cost of collecting your payments (charged to us by our bank), special packing, delivery, GST and is fixed for the year. We do charge a bit more than some supermarkets because of all the extra costs, but thousands of existing customers think that Chrisco is good value and tell us they wouldn't be able to manage without our help. You save yourself the hassles of queuing in crowded shops, carrying shopping home and having to find the extra money at Christmas time. Chrisco can really help you save for a great Christmas and leave you with spare cash to spend on presents.

Q6. What guarantee is there that I will get the hampers I've paid for?

Chrisco was established in 1978, and we have been supplying hampers in Australia since 1997. The fact that we have been around for so long and are a profitable business run on very conservative lines, demonstrates our commitment to service and delivery. We'll be around for many years to come!

Q7. Can I order vouchers from Chrisco?

Yes. Chrisco offers a range of vouchers to make shopping at Christmas time easier.
This is a great way to save for kids presents and other treats. You'll be able to choose what to buy and when, so you can take advantage of specials.

Q8. Can I order a hamper or Savings Club items as a gift for someone else?

Yes; simply let us know when you order that it's a gift and we will enter a delivery address for the products. We won't write to the recipient so it will be a surprise.

Q9. How do I know the products are good quality?

As you can see in our catalogue, only brand names you know and trust are used to ensure top quality. With meat products, we source only Australian meats and will only deal with suppliers that have an established track record for the very highest quality.

Q10. Can I order any time during the year?

Yes. We take orders up until mid October. For example if you ordered in May we just work out your weekly payments on the remaining weeks until 24th October 2008. Of course, the earlier you order the more weeks you have to pay and therefore the lower the weekly payments.

Q11. When will my order arrive?

All Hamper products are delivered between mid November and mid December with the exception of Back to School and Easter. (Back to School will be delivered late January 2009, Easter will be delivered late March 2009.)

Q12. How can I pay for my order?

By Direct Debit, B-Pay, Money Order or Credit Card (Visa, Bankcard & Mastercard only). Payments can be made weekly, fortnightly or monthly with the exception of Credit Cards, which will be direct debited on the 15th of each month. If paying by Credit Card include your 16 digit Credit Card number and your 4 digit expiry date.

Q13. Can I stop a Direct Debit payment?

Yes, if you call us prior to midday the working day before your payment is due we can stop a payment (ie: before Friday midday for a Monday payment). If you want to stop payments indefi nitely, we reduce your order down to the amount paid so that you still have a hamper for Christmas. If you want to add hampers on later, just call us back and we'll arrange it.

Q14. What happens if I miss a payment?

Chrisco will automatically recalculate and slightly increase your future payments so that your order is paid in full by the 24th October 2008. If a few payments are missed we may slightly reduce your order and write to let you know. If you want to skip a payment we can do this provided you phone before midday on the working day prior to the day your payment is due.

Q15. Will I be charged if I miss a payment?

Your bank, Credit Union, or Building Society may charge you a fee. Chrisco may charge you a small dishonour fee to cover charges we incur.

Q16. What happens if I can't keep up my payments?

We understand that circumstances change and if you are not able to keep paying please call one of our friendly Customer Service staff to discuss your options.

Q17. What happens if I change address?

If you change your address, simply let us know as soon as possible by phone on 1800 830 830 or write to Chrisco Hampers, Reply Paid 75304, Regents Park DC NSW 2143. (No stamp required)

Q18. What happens to my payments on Public Holidays?

Your Direct Debit payment will come out the next working day. Please note that Chrisco is located in Sydney, therefore we observe all NSW public holidays.  If you wish to skip a payment on these days or the day after you will need to let us know before midday on the working day before.
